Born and brought up in the Yorkshire Dales, in 2021 I moved to Patmos in Greece where I'm renovating a house, which is a rather novel experience having spent 40 years doing it for other people! I have always been interested in gardens and interiors, an interest I inherited from my Grandmother who was 'of the Anglo-Irish'. Originally I trained as a textile designer and began writing by accident, but it has been a rewarding and interesting development in life.
